Questions?
What baby formulas does Bobbie offer?
Bobbie offers four different infant formulas for babies 0–12 months: Organic Whole Milk Infant Formula (our closest to breast milk), Whole Milk Infant Formula (made with milk from pasture-raised cows), Organic Gentle Infant Formula (for babies with gas, fussiness, or sensitive tummies), and Organic Infant Formula (our original, tried-and-trusted recipe). All formulas are non-GMO and free from corn syrup, palm oil, and artificial additives. Not sure which is right for your baby? Take our Formula Quiz.
Is Bobbie baby formula safe and FDA-reviewed?
Yes. Bobbie formula is manufactured in the United States in FDA-registered facilities and meets all FDA nutritional requirements (and most EU nutritional requirements) for infant formula. All four Bobbie recipes hold the Clean Label Purity Award and Pesticide Free Certification. Plus, every batch undergoes 2,000+ quality and safety checks before it ever leaves our owned and operated U.S. manufacturing facility. To learn more about our safety standards, visit our Formula Safety page.
Does Bobbie formula contain corn syrup or added sugars?
No. We only use lactose as our carbohydrate source, which is the same sugar naturally found in breast milk. No corn syrup solids, sucrose, maltose, glucose syrup, brown rice syrup, or maltodextrin—ever. Lactose has a lower glycemic index than those sugar alternatives and a less sweet taste profile. For a full breakdown of what goes into each recipe, visit our Ingredients page.
How is Bobbie formula different from other US baby formulas?
Bobbie was the first USDA Organic, EU-style formula to hit U.S. shelves. Our baby formulas are designed to mirror breast milk, with whey-forward proteins, 100% lactose, and EU-levels of DHA per serving. All four of our recipes are free from palm oil, corn syrup, and soy allergens. Dive deeper on our Formula Science page.
Which Bobbie formula is best for a gassy or fussy baby?
Bobbie Organic Gentle Infant Formula is clinically crafted to ease fussiness, gas, and crying. It’s the only USDA Organic gentle formula that uses 100% Lactose and is made with partially hydrolyzed, broken-down whey proteins for easier digestion. Try Organic Gentle or take our Formula Quiz to find the best formula fit for your baby.
What is the difference between Bobbie's Organic Whole Milk and Whole Milk Infant formula?
Both are made with 100% whole milk from grass-fed cows and deliver high-quality infant nutrition from day one. The key difference is organic certification — choose Organic Whole Milk if USDA Organic status is a priority, or explore Grass-fed Whole Milk for a non-organic alternative with the same whole milk nutrition.
Are Bobbie formulas USDA Organic?
Three of the four Bobbie formulas— Organic Whole Milk, Organic Gentle, and Organic Infant Formula —are USDA Organic certified. The Whole Milk Infant Formula is made with non-GMO ingredients and is Clean Label Project Certified, but not USDA Organic certified. This gives parents a high-quality formula option at our best Bobbie value.
What age is Bobbie formula for?
All Bobbie formulas are designed for infants from birth through 12 months. They are complete nutrition sources for this age group and do not require supplementation with water, juice, or solid foods before 6 months. After 12 months, pediatricians generally recommend transitioning to whole cow's milk or a toddler milk. For guidance on amounts and schedules by age, see our Feeding Guide.
Can I use Bobbie formula for combo feeding (breastfeeding and formula)?
Yes. Many Bobbie parents use our formulas for occasional supplementing, combo feeding, or full formula feeding. If you’re new to supplementing with formula, try our Starter Bundle. And to learn more about making the transition, check out our Combo Feeding page.
Does Bobbie formula contain DHA?
Yes. Bobbie includes DHA, the omega-3 fatty acid that plays a vital role in supporting brain health. At 20mg per 100 kcal, Bobbie meets EU guidelines for DHA. For more on the science behind Bobbie's ingredients, visit the Formula Science page.
